Update: In further response to client feedback, we are trialing 24/7 building access available to main campus students in both the UOW Library South Wing AND IMTS Student Computer Labs (Building 17) from 5 June to Thursday 22 June, 2017. We will be trialing a study hall type service from 10pm to 8am during the week, and 10pm to 10am over the weekend throughout the pilot, in an effort to access real demand for expanded service hours.

In direct response to client feedback, the Library has extended its opening hours. The extended hours include an additional four (4) hours on Friday evenings and an additional five (5) hours on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The Library has also significantly developed its electronic collections to allow for greater flexibility and access, regardless of location.

Presently, the challenge with extending opening hours further, or to include a 24 hour space within the Library, is in providing a secure and staffed location within our existing building infrastructure. Be assured, however, that we are invested in delivering relevant and supportive services to the UOW community and your suggestions are discussed by the Library Executive. We will continue to to look at ways to improve access to study resources and spaces and we thank you for your feedback.

In the meantime, feel free to use our spaces in the main Library building and the Library South Wing. We are also available online 24 hours a day to support your study needs with appropriate resources.
