There are several different buttons on an Apple mouse performing a variety of functions.
It includes a left, right and side buttons. Additionally, it includes a 360 degree scroll ball which allows for movement around a page vertically, horizontally and diagonally.
The newer, magic mouse does not have physical buttons but instead uses gestures for navigation.
