Q. Who owns the copyright in my publication?

This can vary from publisher to publisher, and your contract with your publisher should stipulate who owns the copyright. 

If the publisher takes ownership of the copyright, the contract should stipulate what are your exclusive and non-exclusive rights in terms of copying and communicating the publication.
