Q. How do I check the ERA ranking of a journal?

The Australian Research Council (ARC) has advised that the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) evaluations and journal rankings no longer exist. This was discontinued in 2023 by the Australian Research Council, and while archived lists remain available, there is no current or updated ranking system. In the interim, researchers can continue to use a range of journal quality indicators and resources available on the Library's Services for Researchers guide.
