Our screens let you share your device's desktop, applications and documents so you can work and collaborate with those around you. 

You'll find them around the Ground Floor (including selected study rooms) as well as in GS 209, GS 210, GS 211, GS 212 & GS 213 on Level 2. 

To identify which instructions you should follow to connect your screen, observe the colour of the TV screen background. Screens with a black background use AirServer. Screens with a blue background use Solstice

 

Using the black screens (AirServer) 

Note: iOS Phones and Macs will need to be connected to the 'UOW' or 'eduroam' (for visitors from other universities) Wi-Fi network in order to use these screens.

Using the Blue screens (Solstice) 

Note: Your device will need to be connected to the 'UOW' or 'eduroam' (for visitors from other universities) Wi-Fi network in order to use these screens. 

 

Connecting to screen with my device: 

  1. Navigate to the IP address shown on the display. 
    For example if the screen shows: http://10.24.52.167, enter 10.24.52.167 into your browser. 

  1. Unless you have the app, select "Get the App & Join" to download and install it on your device. 

  1. If you have the app, the closest Solstice displays should show in your "Discovered Displays" screen 

  1. The app will install and ask you to enter the key on the screen. 
    For example Key: 0584 

  1. You can use multiple options at the same time. 
    Options include: 

  1. Sharing your desktop 

  1. Sharing only a single app 

  1. Sharing a media file 

  1. Select "Stop Sharing All" to end all shares. 

  1. Select "X Disconnect" to disconnect from Solstice.
