Our screens let you share your device's desktop, applications and documents so you can work and collaborate with those around you.

You'll find them around the Ground Floor (including selected study rooms) as well as in GS 209, GS 210, GS 211, GS 212 & GS 213 on Level 2.

To identify which instructions you should follow to connect your screen, observe the colour of the TV screen background. Screens with a black background use AirServer. Screens with a blue background use Solstice

Using the black screens (AirServer)

Note: iOS Phones and Macs will need to be connected to the 'UOW' or 'eduroam' (for visitors from other universities) Wi-Fi network in order to use these screens.

Follow one of the guides below to connect your device:

Using the blue screens (Solstice)

Note: Your device will need to be connected to the 'UOW' or 'eduroam' (for visitors from other universities) Wi-Fi network in order to use these screens.

Connecting to screen with my device:

  1.  If you don’t already have the Solstice installed go to https://www.mersive.com/download/ to download the app for free.

  2. If you have the app, enter the IP address on the bottom left of the screen into your device's internet browser. For example: 10.24.51.29.

  3. You will then be asked to enter the key on the screen. For example: Key: 0584.

  4. You can use multiple options at the same time.

  5. Options include:

  • Sharing your desktop

  • Sharing only a single app

  • Sharing a media file

      6. Select "Stop Sharing All" to end all shares.

      7. Select "X Disconnect" to disconnect from Solstice.
