Q. How do I get my headphones to work on the Library computers?

You may connect wired headphones and wireless headphones via Bluetooth to Library computers.

To connect wireless headphones to a Library computer:

1. Turn on the wireless headphones and put into 'pairing mode'.
2. Once the headphones are ready to pair, open the desktop computer settings. 
3. Select 'Bluetooth & devices' > 'Devices' > 'Add device'.
4. In the 'Add device' menu, choose 'Bluetooth' and select the headphones you wish to connect.
5. Once connected, close the settings and check that the headphones have successfully paired through clicking the volume button to ensure sound plays through the headphones.

If you have wired headphones:

1. Plug your headphones into the headphones port located on the side of the monitor.
2. A popup may appear asking you to select which device you have plugged in.
3. Select ‘headphones’ > ‘ok’
4. To adjust volume, click the sound icon on the right-hand side of the Taskbar.

• Search for the Control Panel on your computer > select ‘Hardware and Sound’ > under ‘Sound’ there are options to adjust system volume and manage audio devices.
