Follow these step-by-step instructions to export one or many references from Library SEARCH into your EndNote library.
Export one reference into EndNote
Ensure you have EndNote installed on your device.
1. Sign in to Library SEARCH using your UOW credentials and perform your search as normal.
2. Select the ellipsis on the right of the record.
3. Select “Export RIS (EndNote)”.
4. Select “Download”.
5. Open the downloaded file (file location may appear differently depending on your browser).
6. EndNote should open automatically, if not click on the arrow next to the downloaded file and select Open. Note: For Mac computers you may be prompted to choose an application on opening the file. Select EndNote.
Export many references into EndNote (bulk export)
Note: Library SEARCH supports a maximum of 50 records to be exported to Endnote. Records can be chosen by selecting the top 50 results icon at the top of your results or by selecting individual records using the check boxes.
Ensure you have EndNote installed on your device.
1. Sign in to Library SEARCH using your UOW credentials and perform your search as normal.
2. Select the multiple records that you want to export by clicking the tick box.
3. Select the ellipsis on the top right of your bulk selection (not the individual record).
4. Select “Export RIS (EndNote)”.
5. Select “Download”.
6. Open the downloaded file (file location may appear differently depending on your browser).
7. EndNote should open automatically, if not click on the arrow next to the downloaded file and select Open. Note: For Mac computers you may be prompted to choose an application on opening the file. Select EndNote.
