Library databases are large online collections of articles from academic journals in which you can access for free through using your UOW student account.

Searching in library databases allows you to:

  • Limit to academic and peer-reviewed sources
  • Combine keywords and subject headings to develop sophisticated searches
  • Limit and refine your search; removing irrelevant search results

To access UOW Library databases, go to the A-Z Databases list, or view subject specific guides which include discipline-specific databases.
