If you have experienced online harm, it is not your fault and help is available. The Safe and Respectful Communities (SARC) team is responsible for supporting staff and students who have witnessed or experienced any forms of abuse or harassment. The SARC team is working with the eSafety Commissioner to help create safer and more positive experiences online. To find out more visit the SARC webpage on eSafety or contact the SARC team.  
 

ABOUT ESAFETY COMMISSIONER  
 
The eSafety Commissioner helps prevent and deal with harm caused by serious online abuse or illegal and restricted online content.  
 
Issues you can report to eSafety include situations where:

  • You have been threatened, intimidated, or harassed or humiliated online  
  • Digital technology has been used to menace, harass or offend you 
  • Someone has shared an intimate image of video of you online 
  • You have seen illegal content such as child sexual abuse, terrorism or other extreme violence

You can make a report directly to eSafety online or contact the SARC team to assist you with this process.
