There are four options you can use to add resources to your Subject Readings list.

  • The ‘+ Add' button is the preferred option for adding most resources e.g. books, ebooks, articles and many other resources from the Library's collection. This will auto complete the citation information and save you time. Try this option first before manually adding citations to Subject Readings.

  • If you're browsing the main Library SEARCH outside of the subject readings system, you can pin item(s) to your 'Favourites' and they will automatically appear in 'My Collection' in Subject Readings where you can drag and drop them on to your list.

  • The ‘Cite It!’ browser extension allows you to quickly add resources to your list e.g. YouTube videos and websites.

  • 'Manual entry' can be used for resources you cannot find through Library SEARCH or to request resources not held by the Library. If the Library holds a resource in the collection, you should use the ‘Library SEARCH’ option.

Contact the Library if you are not sure which option to select.
