Q. Why can't the Library purchase the ebook I need through VitalSource?

UOW Library is unable to purchase eBooks through VitalSource as the platform offers individual user licences only, rather than the institutional licences (provided by publishers) required for library access. Consequently, eBooks available on VitalSource cannot be shared or provided through the Library.

However, you can purchase VitalSource eBooks for personal use via the UniShop to be accessed on your preferred device (iOS, Android, Kindle, etc.). While the Library strives to provide unlimited access to eBooks, the availability and user restrictions are determined by the publishers.
