Wollongong Campus Library holds a small, yet varied, collection of rare books, pamphlets and ephemera.
The Collection numbers some 900 individual items dating from as early as 1582 (Boccaccio's Il Decameron). Original books published before 1800 are also housed here.
To access material not available online or in the Rare Books Reading Room (Located on the Ground Floor of the Library, Building 16), talk to a staff member at the Service Desk or contact Archives staff via uow-archives@uow.edu.au, to organise a time to view material in the Reading Room.
Note: our rare books cannot be borrowed or photocopied.
