What is LibKey Nomad?

LibKey Nomad is a browser extension you can add to your chosen browser. Once the extension is installed, you will have faster access to full-text scholarly articles and resources provided by UOW Library subscriptions. 

Who can use LibKey Nomad? 

The LibKey Nomad browser extension can be downloaded and used by current UOW Staff and students. Unfortunately, LibKey Nomad will not be available to alumni and guests due to limited access to select online databases.

How do l install LibKey Nomad? 

To install the LibKey Nomad browser extension, you can go directly to the Third Iron website: http://thirdiron.com/downloadnomad/

You will need to:

1. Select your preferred browser that you would like to install the extension on.

2. Grant any required or necessary permissions to add the extension to your browser.

3. Enter 'University of Wollongong' if prompted to select your institution from the drop-down menu.

4. You can manage the LibKey Nomad extensions in your settings, depending on the browser you have selected to use.
