Q. Can I still include Elsevier ScienceDirect articles in my subject readings?

The Council of Australasian University Librarians (CAUL) has ceased negotiations with Elsevier for journal content on the ScienceDirect database and will not enter into a consortium agreement for 2026. This means that UOW and other Australasian Universities will also not have an agreement with Elsevier with ScienceDirect in 2026.  

Some ScienceDirect articles may no longer be available via the Library. Articles may be sourced via Document Delivery. Any Document Delivery articles scanned and uploaded to Subject Reading Lists are subject to copyright limitations.
