Q. Will researchers still be able to access Elsevier ScienceDirect content?

From 2026, researchers will still have access to any open access ScienceDirect content. Availability of other articles is not guaranteed. If you come across a paywall, where you're asked to pay for access to an article, you can request individual articles through Document Delivery or contact the Library on lib-liaison-services@uow.edu.au for further assistance.

No other Elsevier products are affected by this change. UOW researchers will still have access to Scopus, Engineering Village, ClinicalKey, Georef, Inspec and SciVal.
