What is a reference list?

Answer

A reference list is an alphabetical list of any sources that have been cited in a document. The reference list exists to give credit to authors or content you have referred to and to allow any readers of your work to find the material you have used.

You can find further information on how to style your reference list in the Library's referencing guide. For a general template, see the Reference Lists resource.
