How do I conduct a systematic review?

To conduct a systematic review (also called a systematic literature review or SLR), you should develop a search strategy by breaking down the scenario or question into key terms, then search for information. For help locating health information and research, see our Looking for health information resource.
As you will likely need to review a large number of resources and conduct many searches in the process of carrying out a SLR it is advised you keep track of all your searches and results. One way to do this is to use a tracker, such as this Systematic Review Tracker.
