How do I reference?

Answer

Referencing links what you read with what you write.

It's important to reference all your sources:

  • to allow you or someone else to find the source of your information
  • to avoid plagiarism by acknowledging that you’ve used the ideas and work of others
  • to strengthen your arguments and add credibility by referring to expert ideas.

For further information on how to reference and the different style guides available, please refer to the Referencing and Citing guide.
