Standard files that are downloaded from the SAI Global i2i platforms are DRM protected PDFs, which can only be opened and viewed by using a supported PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Reader) with specific settings.

You can view standards from the database SAI Global i2i online and in your browser by clicking on the "View Online" option!

Follow the steps below to access standards downloaded from the  SAI Global i2i platform:

From the top menu bar, click “Edit” > “Preferences”. Under “Categories”, click “JavaScript”. Uncheck the field “Enable global object security policy” and ensure the “Enable Acrobat JavaScript” field is checked.

  • Download standard from SAI Global and save to your device.
  • Open file with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

A pop-up window of “Security Warning” message “This document is trying to connect to doc.drm.saiglobal.com…” will appear at the first time you open and view the downloaded file. Please confirm by checking the box “Remember this action…”, then click Allow.
