From 1st Feb 2025, access to EBSCOhost databases and MyEBSCO Account are authenticated via Single Sign-On (SSO). This means, you are signing into your MyEBSCO Account using your UOW credentials and accessing EBSCOhost databases at the same time.

When you are signing in via SSO to access EBSCOhost databases for the first time you will be presented with the Personal Account Consent screen below, before you can search and view any EBSCO resources:

You can select “Skip for now” and access EBSCO content without creating or using MyEBSCO Account

However, if you would like to continue using the MyEBSCO Account function to save searches and articles, and to retrieve any existing saved searches and items, please select “Continue personalized” to create a new MyEBSCO Account automatically.

IMPORTANT: To ensure seamless and fast access to all your existing saved searches and items, please follow the Merge Account” steps to merge your previously created MyEBSCO Account into the new SSO MyEBSCO Account. As EBSCO can only provide continued access to any MyEBSCO Accounts created before 1st Feb 2025 until 31st May 2025, this should be done as soon as possible to avoid any loss of previously saved content in your MyEBSCO Account.
